Buenos Aires, 1 septiembre (PV) — El mediocampista argentino Enzo Fernández publicó una emotiva carta en sus redes sociales para despedirse del Chelsea luego de concretar su llegada al Manchester City, donde continuará su carrera tras tres años en el conjunto londinense.
Según pudo saber la Agencia Noticias Argentinas, el volante surgido en River eligió Instagram para dirigirse a los hinchas del Chelsea y reconoció que no atraviesa días fáciles. En su mensaje, aseguró que escribir esas palabras tampoco le resultó sencillo y destacó el vínculo que construyó con el club y su gente.
Fernández recordó que desde su llegada, tanto Cobham como Stamford Bridge se convirtieron en su casa y remarcó el fuerte sentimiento que desarrolló por la camiseta y el escudo. También repasó los momentos vividos durante su etapa en el equipo: «Sufrimos, lloramos, me enojé muchas veces, pero también celebramos títulos y victorias inolvidables».

Three years ago, Cobham and Stamford Bridge became home for me and my family. I grew attached to the people, to the shirt, and to the badge of this incredible club. El centrocampista albiceleste explicó que su salida responde a una de esas decisiones difíciles que aparecen a lo largo de una carrera y sostuvo que comprende el sentimiento de los simpatizantes. «He crecido increíblemente unido a este club. Chelsea siempre tendrá un lugar en mis pensamientos y, sobre todo, en mi corazón», expresó.
Además, Fernández agradeció a los integrantes del cuerpo técnico, médico y de trabajo del club, así como a sus compañeros durante estos años. Asimismo tuvo un mensaje especial para los hinchas por el respaldo que recibió junto a su familia: «Nunca lo olvidaré«.
En el cierre de la carta, el mediocampista aseguró que seguirá deseándole lo mejor al Chelsea y se despidió con una frase que sintetizó su vínculo con la institución: «Siempre estarán en mi corazón, Blues». Y concluyó: «Siempre Blue. Gracias, Chelsea. 💙».
